Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ReConnection Retreat?
The ReConnection Retreat is a transformative three-day Christ-centered men’s retreat, designed to facilitate spiritual growth, personal discovery, camaraderie, and renewal. It focuses on reconnecting with God, rediscovering oneself, and forging meaningful relationships with our families, spouse and others. Through core-doctrine discussions, small group work, reflection and guided journaling, you will rediscover the Divinity within you.
Who should attend the ReConnection Retreat?
This retreat is designed for any man seeking to deepen his faith, strengthen connections with God, self, and others. Whether you’re navigating life’s challenges, seeking to enrich your spiritual journey, or overcome addictions, this conference is for you. At the retreat, we will introduce new practices to regain control. This conference is for men eighteen-years and older.
What will I experience at the conference?
Attendees will participate in a carefully inspired series of soul-stirring sessions and meaningful discussions aimed at spiritual awakening and personal validation. The retreat offers opportunities for quiet reflection, personal renewal, and activities that emphasize the importance of interdependence. We will also enjoy healthy (organic and non-GMO) catered food and sport activities at a beautiful, secluded mountain retreat. You will leave equipped with practical tools and a renewed sense of purpose. By focusing on the positive, the mind and soul are reminded of the purpose of life and our Heavenly Fathers plan for us.
Is this an addiction recovery conference?
While the ReConnection Retreat welcomes individuals seeking addiction recovery, it is not designed as an addiction recovery workshop. It is also not group therapy and attendees will not be asked to share personal or private struggles. The focus is on reconnection with God, self, and others, with self-mastery viewed as a byproduct of these reconnections. The environment is supportive of all men on their path to renewal and growth.
How can I prepare for the conference?
Prepare by approaching the retreat with an open heart and mind, ready to engage in the transformative process of reconnecting with God, self, and others. Consider reflecting on your personal goals for the retreat and what you hope to achieve through this experience. Leaving the conference, you will have a renewed sense of purpose, your Divine potential, and be reminded of the important role you play as a son, father, husband, leader, and friend.
What should I bring to the conference?
Bring a question (or several) that you would like to ask God. Additionally, your scriptures, a notebook, comfortable clothing suitable for both sitting and outdoor activities, and any personal items necessary for a three-day, two night stay. Specific details and recommendations will be provided upon registration.
How do I register for the ReConnection Retreat?
You can register for the conference through our official website. Space is limited, so we encourage you to secure your spot early. Details on registration fees, accommodations, and any early bird specials will be available upon registration.
Can I attend the conference alone, or should I bring someone?
Both individual attendees and groups are welcome. The conference is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded men seeking growth and renewal. If you come alone, you’ll find a community ready to embrace you. If you come with friends, you’ll deepen your existing bonds. If you sign-up and refer a friend, you will be reimbursed $100 for each man who registers and attends.
What measures are in place to ensure privacy and comfort during the retreat?
We respect the privacy and comfort of all attendees. Discussions and activities are conducted in a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere. Personal sharing is encouraged but not mandatory or required ensuring a comfortable space for everyone. We do not believe in using extreme or fringe experiential practices to prove a point. We practice and incorporate safe, mature-learning practices that invite the Holy Spirit (who testifies of truth).
How can the ReConnection Retreat impact my life?
The conference is designed to offer a profound impact on your spiritual journey, providing tools and insights to foster a deeper connection with God, self, and others. You will leave feeling renewed, with strengthened faith and lasting friendships that support your ongoing growth and resilience. As an attendee, you will also receive a complimentary 30-minute follow-up session (video or phone call) with a member of the facilitation team. You may choose who you would like to meet with – scheduled about four-six weeks after the conference.
